My story

"Home is where the dog runs to meet you." And do we have a precious one who will love being part of your home. Hap is such a sweetheart! We think Hap is short for happy, which is a perfect description of this great dog! Why we love him: Hap is such a gentle, good natured dog who loves people of all ages. He is one year old and weighs 52 pounds, so if you want to adopt a medium sized companion, he could be the one! Hap is one of our favorite walking buddies - he is so calm and easy on the leash and we love having him close by our side. He also has a great time playing in the fenced yard. He is the best cuddle buddy and is so grateful for attention and affection. We love spending time with Hap! One of our volunteers observes: "Hap is such a sweet and congenial dog who is such fun to hang out with." Hap is a bright young dog who should master any commands you wish to teach him. He has already learned to sit and especially appreciates the reward of a treat. Hap is such a good boy! He will be such a devoted and loyal family dog.
