My story
Meet Big Dog (the cat)! Big Dog is such a gentleman who is ready to take you out to dinner! Big Dog is a foodie and will give you extra attention and care to get some extra treats. He came in as an outdoor cat, but he is loving being indoors and is really enjoying people! People give him food and treats, what's not to love! Big Dog is currently staying at our Heartland Facility! We are open Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday Noon-6pm and Sunday Noon-6pm. Feel free to stop by to meet them! No appointment necessary. Big Dog is neutered, up-to-date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations, and FeLV negative. Big Dog is FIV positive. This just means that there are some extra steps to keeping him healthy. FIV can weaken the cat's immune system. While FIV-positive cats enjoy long, healthy lives, they can be hit harder by secondary infections. Please feel free to ask our Heartland Team for a more in-depth overview.
