MOCHA*

My story

Fans of the movie Zoolander will surely remember the scene where Derek Zoolander is feeling pretty down after a fashion runway fail (he’s not an ambi-turner!) and his friends exuberantly suggest a solution to help him feel better… “Orange mocha frappuccino!!!” While you won’t find this funky drink on any Starbucks menu these days, we have something sweeter and even better to turn your frown upside down… our sweet Mocha!! Mocha is just over a year old and is dreaming of a home where he will learn all of the skills to become a top male runway model… Just kidding, he has much simpler aspirations; to find a loving family who will treat him as a true member of the family. Here’s what one volunteer had to say:“Mocha was friendly and easy to leash up when I met him at his kennel this morning. He was happy to walk over to a play yard. Once in the yard, he sniffed around and then jumped right in the pool! He enjoyed cooling off for a little bit before he resumed his exploration. He would check in with me for treats and gentle pets. He`s a very curious guy and enjoyed following his nose around the yard. He`s very treat motivated and I could imagine this being a great incentive for him in training and learning lots of new tricks. He would be following his nose and then do a little zoomie! After a few minutes he got in the pool and just laid there and let me rub his sweet little baby face!” Mocha came to PACC from a hoarding situation and needs a family who will show him the ropes in a loving home environment. He has valley fever and takes twice daily medications, but this hasn’t slowed him down one bit!Mocha shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been easygoing and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. If you’re looking for a pint-sized, gentle sweetheart, Mocha would love to meet you!
