My story

Meet Benny (VALL-A-2452)! He is a domestic shorthair who originally came to us back in February 2022 and adopted that same year. Benny was recently returned in March 2025 due to unexpected circumstances in his home. However, Benny has not skipped a beat! He is still everyone's favorite gentle giant who is always ready for cuddles and pets. Benny is positive for FIV which just means his little immune system is not as strong as a normal cat's would be. This also means he would have to be an INDOOR ONLY cat and is reccomended to have normal vet check-ups every 6 months. He is recommended to go to a home with another FIV+ cat or no other cats at all to not further spread FIV. While he loves being the center of attention, Benny does amazing living with his fellow FIV+ cats. Since returning to VAC, Benny continues to greet anyone and everyone with love waiting for his second chance at a furever home!
