My story

Hi! My name is Sniffer, I think? But my foster mom calls me “such a good boy” all the time. Come to think of it, everyone says I’m a good boy! I came to my foster home with stitches around my neck from an owie from a tight collar and I was weak and a little wobbly from not running around. Boy has that changed! I love rolling in the grass and running around with my 2 foster siblings. I make sure to visit everyone I can to get snuggles because it’s the best, and I LOVE playing with every dog I see. Life is amazing! I learned quickly that I need to potty outside and when my family leaves me at home I just nap. Then I have energy to play! I love shaking my toys and rolling on my back while I play with them. Oh, and the squeakers… I can’t believe how wonderful my life has gotten in the last two weeks and I would love to meet you and show you all of the amazingness out there! Like have you ever dug in sand?!? So fun! Let me know when we can meet and I’ll be ready for more snuggles. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
