My story

Sadie Mae: Toy Collector, Sheep Diplomat, Your Next Best Friend!Meet Sadie Mae, a 6-year-old pit bull terrier mix who has mastered the art of being playful without being exhausting. She loves to romp around with her toys... she just doesn't believe in giving them back. It's her version of fetchâ&#194&#128&#194&#148you throw it, she keeps it, everyone wins (especially her)!Recently, Sadie took a leisurely stroll with a volunteer to meet some sheep. While her human companion braced for herding instincts to kick in, Sadie simply gave the sheep a polite glance. The sheep blinked. Sadie blinked back. End scene. No drama, no chasingâ&#194&#128&#194&#148just mutual respect and unspoken understanding. The sheep might've expected a show, but Sadie Mae doesn't perform for anyone.This smart girl is potty trained, leash-savvy, and enjoys a good jog, though she's not going to judge you if you're more of a walk-and-snack type.She's had a meet-and-greet with a super chill dog and did great. Sadie Mae might do well with another laid-back furry friend or even a playful companion; we just need a few more introductions to be sure. That said, she's perfectly happy flying solo, too.Sadie Mae takes treats like a true lady and knows when to be silly and when to kick back and relax. She's the perfect mix of goofy and gentle, with just a dash of diva (when it comes to toys).If you're looking for a loyal, low-key, hilarious, toy-obsessed best friend, Sadie Mae is your girl. The sheep may not have been impressed, but we sure are. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
