My story

Biscuit came to PAC with his sibling as an owner surrender on 4/14/25. He was quite upset and scared, so a foster thought it may help to reunite him with his brother and let them both decompress. The foster quickly recognized that Biscuit was actually protecting his brother because something was wrong. It turned out that the brother was extremely sick and it was time to say goodbye. After his brother passed, Biscuit put away his tough guy act and melted into his foster’s arms. Biscuit let his true personality shine. His foster family showered him with love and quickly discovered he was a biscuit making machine. He even makes biscuits in his sleep! It was obvious that he had not had much social interaction or one-on-one attention for quite a while. He needed some coaxing to become an active 2 year old kitty again. A laser pointer and wand toy got this big guy moving once more. He is a bit of a human food moocher, so sometimes his foster likes to walk around the house pretending to have food in her hand. It gets this big boy exercise as he walks around the house as her shadow. He is a low maintenance guy who is happy to just chill out with you once exercise time is over. He also doesn’t mind if you pick him up and carry him around because lazy is kinda his thing too. He requires no fancy stuff, just a cardboard scratcher or two and a string to chase. He is still young at heart and loves to flop at your feet for a belly rub and snuggle. Flopping at your feet is his second secret talent. He can even do a half flip, half flop and wait for your applause. Payment for his performance is always belly rubs where he will give you an encore of (you guessed it) more biscuit making.Biscuit is super smart and curious too. He knows the word “no” and phrase “get down”. He is very cunning and will employ his charm to beg for treats, but he’s been a trooper about his measured feeding and is easily distracted by pets in lieu of snacks. He is expressive and vocal, and always greets you when you come home. He is the perfect combination of submissive and confident. With proper introduction, Biscuit should do well with other cat friends and possibly calm dogs (although there is no known history with them). He would make the perfect addition to any family as long as you are willing to give him chin scratches while he makes air biscuits to his heart’s content

If you have any questions or would like to adopt BISCUIT, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
