My story

Hi there! My name is Luna and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a 2 year old, female, domestic medium hair who came to SB Humane in search of a new caring home. I might seem shy when we first meet, I’ll take my time—not rush or leap. I like to watch, to learn, to see If you're the kind who’s kind to me. But once I know that I’m secure, You’ll hear my purrs—so soft, so pure. I’ll flop right down, roll at your feet, And turn each cuddle into a treat. I love slow blinks and gentle hands, And snuggles that no clock demands. I only ask for time and space, To come out from my quiet place. Then one fine day, I’ll choose your lap, Curl in a ball and take a nap. A loyal heart, a friend so true— I’m waiting here… could that be you? Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
