My story

Looking for a cuddly companion who loves to be close? Meet Joe Black! This sweet, goofy pup absolutely lives for snuggles—he wants to be held as much as possible and feels safest when he's near his person. Joe Black was an owner surrender from Bakersfield and has been thriving in foster care. When crated or left alone, he may cry and be vocal for a bit—usually settling down after about 30 minutes. He’s not a constant barker, just a pup who really loves connection. He’s also been around cats and handled it well. Playful, affectionate, and full of heart, Joe Black is looking for someone who’s ready for a loyal best friend who loves to be by your side (or in your lap) as much as possible. Be ready to adopt. Adoptions can happen quickly so be prepared for our call, only apply for dogs that every family member in the home wants, and wait to apply until you return from your vacation.
