Meet Nellie, our charming tuxedo girl with a heart full of love! At 5 years old, she’s bursting with energy and has plenty of life left to share. Nellie is incredibly sweet and enjoys the company of new friends, always ready to greet visitors with her warm personality. When she’s not busy making new acquaintances, you can find her lounging in her cozy bed, happily people-watching. If you’re looking for a companion who combines affection with a laid-back attitude, Nellie is the perfect fit for you!**Adoptions are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please fill out an application online on our website, and someone will contact you.****All cats and kittens adopted from the Boone Area Humane Society must be kept as indoor-only pets and cannot be declawed.****All cats are spayed or neutered, FeLV tested, and microchipped. They are also dewormed and receive age-appropriate vaccinations.**All animals have been spayed/neutered, have been tested for heartworm/feline leukemia, have had age appropriate vaccinations, been dewormed, is on flea and parasite prevention and has been microchipped.
