My story

Meet Tiger- he's not just good, he's GREEEAAT! Tiger is a very sweet boy who really loves the company of his humans. He was surrendered to the shelter when his owner ran into medical problems and couldn't keep him. Since getting to the shelter Tiger has been understandably stressed, often pacing and panting inside. He loves exploring smells and feeling the breeze on his fur outside, where he is much more relaxed. He'd love to get out of this shelter and into a home where he learns he's safe! Tiger is now available for adoption at ACCT Philly- you can meet him any day from 10am-6pm! Really no pulling that I saw! Handling: Pretty low energy in the play yard just interested in exploring the smells. I took out treats and he just sniffed them, but wasn’t interested in taking them. He took pets all over from me and was very content standing by my side. Very open to handling just has some nervous energy. Took pets all over! Opens up to new ppl pretty easily. Sometimes skittish with loud noises. No issues going back into kennel. Toys: Not much interest in toys or treats. Color: Gold, can be green if he gets a bit less nervous Play group 5/3/25: Very steerable. Scared of shaker can. Gentle & Dainty playstyle. Greeted dogs appropriately. Did some exit searching. Per Staff 5/2/25: Tiger was very stressed during his intake exam, panting, pacing and seeking exit at door. Wasn't fond of restraint ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in.
