My story

Daisy's journey has been nothing short of heartbreaking, and yet, through it all, she has shown remarkable resilience and a capacity for love. Born in a puppy mill in Missouri, she faced unimaginable circumstances during her early months, confined to a cage with little human interaction. It's a painful reality that many dogs like her endure, but thankfully, Daisy found a glimmer of hope when an animal activist rescued her from an auction house where she was destined for a life of suffering. After her long journey to Arizona, it seemed that Daisy was finally on the path to happiness. However, her life took another tragic turn when the person who adopted her turned out to be untrustworthy, leading to a harrowing series of events that culminated in her being seized by authorities. Despite these challenges, Daisy's spirit shone through, and she blossomed into a confident and loving companion. For the past seven years, Daisy thrived in a loving home alongside her canine friend, Dragon. Their bond was a source of joy and comfort, especially for Daisy, who has faced so much loss and uncertainty. Now, at 10 years old, she finds herself back in rescue after the heartbreaking passing of her dad and the inability of her mom to care for her. It breaks our hearts to see Daisy in this situation again, but we are determined to find her a stable, loving forever home where she can flourish alongside Dragon. They complement each other beautifully, and we believe that keeping them together is essential for both their well-being. Daisy is a sweet girl who is crate trained, potty trained, and knows her basic commands. She gets along well with other dogs and children, though she's not a fan of cats. We are seeking a family who understands the commitment it takes to care for a dog with Daisy's historya family that will shower her with love and compassion for the rest of her days. It's time for Daisy to know the happiness and security she deserves. If you have room in your heart and home for both Daisy and Dragon, we would love to hear from you. Together, they can create new, beautiful memories and finally experience a happily ever after. Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $400 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Daisy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
