My story

Jazz is a loving, 9-year-old pit bull with a heart as big as her soulful eyes. She’s a gentle snuggle bug who lives for belly rubs, cozy naps, and being close to her favorite person. Whether she’s curled up beside you on the couch or quietly following you from room to room, Jazz is happiest just being near someone who cares. She’s crate trained, house-mannered, and knows all the basics—sit, shake, and wait included. She’s also a tug-of-war champ and a big fan of lazy mornings in bed. Though she can be shy at first, especially with some men, her trust can be won with kindness and patience. Once she warms up, she’s a devoted shadow and your number-one fan. Jazz would thrive as the only pet in a calm home where she can be the center of attention. She can be territorial with larger dogs and hasn’t been tested with cats or children, so a quiet environment would be ideal. She needs someone who can offer her more time, love, and companionship than her current situation allows. Jazz came into her current guardian’s life after the passing of a beloved partner. Fulfilling a promise to care for her has been a labor of love, but with long work hours and apartment life, it’s become clear that Jazz deserves more—more time to play, more affection, and more freedom to be her wonderful self. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will love you with her whole heart, Jazz is ready to be your cuddle buddy for life.
