I'm an expert kneader!Phoenix was at the front and began rubbing on the bars of the kennel when spoken to. He immediately sniffed and ate treats, and when the kennel door was opened, he rubbed against the assessor, leaned in nicely for cheek rubs, and then lay down and rolled onto his side. He enjoyed petting all over, remained calm, and allowed himself to be picked up and set back down. He continued to enjoy all handling and was very sweet.Phoenix interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. We recommend that he go to a home that is well counseled in spray marking and the possibility that it may need time post-surgery for him to stop doing this and that a small percentage of neutered cats continue to mark after being fixed.
