Are you looking for a low-maintenance roommate who loves long walks, bacon-flavored snacks, and cozy blanket forts? Meet Reba — a 30-pound, four-year-old Lab mix who is basically a professional blanket burrito with legs.Reba recently relocated from rural Louisiana, where life was slow, quiet, and full of front porch vibes. She’s still adjusting to the big world, so she may be a little shy at first—but once she feels safe, her sweet personality starts to shine. Think of her as your quiet Southern neighbor who eventually starts showing up with snacks and good company. She’s housebroken (but prefers to do her business in private, thank you very much—so a yard is a must), and she’s fully crate-trained. Her crate is her castle. Seriously. Add blankets and she may never come out again (unless you whisper the word “treat”).She’s great on a leash, doesn’t pull, and walks like she’s on a chill nature podcast. Loud noises? Not her vibe. Party girl? Nope. She’s more of a “stay in and snack” type. She doesn’t know many commands yet, but she listens to her name and has the good manners—what more do you need?Reba is good with less rambunctious kids and dogs but isn’t quite sure what this “play” thing is about yet. If you’re home a lot, enjoy peaceful vibes, and have a quiet home with a yard and some patience, Reba might just be your perfect match. She’s not looking for fireworks—just a calm, loving place to nap, snack, and feel safe.If you’d like to take Reba home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $300 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Reba_La, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
