You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Chewy is an approximately 6 year old Pomeranian who was surrendered to MCHS on 2/27/2025 with his longtime pal, Sunny Day. They are very attached to each other so we are really hoping to get them adopted together, for their own peace of mind. Chewy has been fully vetted and will receive a much needed spa day on May 7th. His fee, with Sunny Day, is $250. Chewy is the more reserved of the two dogs. He kind of allows Sunny to take the lead in things and is more than willing to follow her. He likes attention and is loving and affectionate once he's comfortable with someone. He and Sunny are looking for a somewhat quiet, ADULT only home (teens are fine). They are okay with other smaller dogs. We don't think cats would be a problem. Grooming alert:  he will require regular grooming to keep his coat free from matting. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
