My story

Tanner is currently in a foster home, and he is available for adoption. While many huskies are famous for being loud, Tanner is actually quite the opposite — he’s a calm, gentle soul who’s been thriving in his foster home with the guidance of a patient, confident human.Tanner is housebroken, doesn’t bark just to hear himself talk, isn’t into redecorating your living room, and politely ignores the counters (good boy!). He happily goes into his crate when asked and loves following his person from room to room — content to hang out close by or curl up on the couch for some cozy snuggles. Once he feels secure, you’ll see playful zoomies, sweet nuzzles, and bursts of that classic husky silliness that will absolutely melt your heart.He isn’t super food motivated (wet food, yes; kibble, meh) and city life can feel a bit overwhelming for him, so Tanner would likely do best in a quieter neighborhood or the suburbs. He’s done well meeting dogs on walks, showing off just how gentle and polite he really is.Tanner will thrive with someone who understands the breed and can be his steady leader as he continues to build confidence.
