Ditto's story goes back to late 2024. She was part of a litter that a volunteer group was trying to trap before the hard winter weather hit. The group set traps and sat for hours by a gas station periously close to the highway and finally caught 2 of the 3. They went back several times to try to find the 3rd one with no luck. Fast forward to the snow storms in early 2025 that dumped over 10" of snow in the mid-southern part of Missouri. One of the volunteers received a call from the gas station employee saying they had spotted the 3rd kitten. The volunteer jumped to action and finally caught that last baby!Poor little Ditto was starved and burned, most likely from trying to stay warm somewhere that wasn't safe. She settled in immediately, showing appreciation to her finder. She received the medical care she needed and was nurtured back to health. Now Ditto is strong and spunky, probably what saved her while surviving out in the winter elements!Ditto is spayed, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, has received dewormer and flea preventative and is current on vaccinations. She gets along with other cats once she gets to know them. A slow introduction would be necessary. She would love to be with another kitty who can match her playfulness. A home with older children would be best as when she gets over stimulated, she will act like she's going to bite, but she doesn't. She is simply adorable! Oh, and she loves to lick her human! Contact us for a meet and greet! 14745JTMay 16, 2025, 1:21 am
