My story

(DOB 03/25/2023) Do you have a soft spot for little dogs with a big personality and are ready to give a cute little guy extra love and attention as he settles into his fur-ever home?? Then maybe Benny is the one for you! Benny is looking for a home with a yard with a solid fence that he can run around and play in; he enjoys the fun of playing with toys and extra bonus if they squeak, squeak, squeak! He can be an escape artist and dash to a door or open gate so his new family will need to be aware of where he is and keep him safe. Benny could be an only pup or have other fun, furry pups in his adoptive family. He hasn't had an opportunity to little kids or kitties at this time. No apartments, condos or townhomes for Benny...he is much to chatty for the next door neighbors.  He is a GREAT travel companion and is always up for a car ride!  Not surprising Benny loves little snacks and treats and is happy to gobble them up whenever his foster mom, has a handful. He is also learned how to use the ramp to get on and off the sofa where he likes to snuggle with his foster mom after playing around. Benny has congenital back leg deformities. His back legs do not bend. He does not let his handicap hinder him from enjoying life! He has the cutest walk! It actually makes him extra cute and adorable!! He is mastering his house training and is not a fan of his crate. He would much rather be out with his people. He sleeps at night on his doggie bed with his foster siblings without issue. As part of Benny’s $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
