My story

Borkey’s beginnings are a bit of a mystery, but what we do know is that this sweet soul was rescued in the nick of time—truly by the grace of God. Now safe and sound in a loving foster home, Borkey is finally free to just be himself. Despite being young, Borkey has already lived a hard life on the streets of Dallas. Now, all he wants is peace—and he absolutely deserves it. He’s calm, relaxed, and incredibly easygoing. Borkey is, hands down, the best dog I’ve ever had in a home setting. He’s content to curl up on the couch, lay quietly on the floor, snuggle in his crate (which he adores—it’s his cozy little cave), or climb right into your lap like a cat. He’s amazing with people and respectful around other dogs, gently correcting if another dog crosses his boundaries. He’s leash-trained, crate-trained, and incredibly smart—he picks up new tricks in just a day. His big, brownie-batter eyes are impossible to resist. He melts into any lap he can find, and I’m doing my absolute best not to become a foster fail—because he truly is the best dog I’ve ever had. His greatest flexes are that he doesn’t chew up things, has never had an accident indoors, and doesn’t get into the trash! Borkey is a 2 year old, 65lbs, HW Negative, Vaccinated, fixed male with a mix of Catahoula Leopard Dog, and Pitbull, who is ready for his forever home!
