My story

Meet Mary, a 6-month-old Golden Retriever/Miniature Poodle mix from Arkansas with a heart as big as her story. This sweet and playful girl was found abandoned in a cemetery, but despite her tough start, she’s full of love, joy, and resilience. Mary has a gentle, affectionate nature and adores being around people—she’ll happily follow you from room to room or curl up beside you for some quiet time. With her soft, wavy coat and bright, hopeful eyes, she’s as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. Mary is still a pup at heart, so she’s eager to learn, explore, and share her life with a family who will never leave her behind again. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL! The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Thursday & Friday, 4 pm-8 pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
