Salvador Dogi in the care center has been struggling to acclimate despite best efforts to keep him comfortable. Salvador Dogi has began to kennel fighting leaving and entering kennel rooms, and is highly dog reactive when being walked making it difficult to walk him safely. Salvador Dogi during interactions is social with staff, but becomes restless and struggling settling on his own. Medically, Salvador Dogi is apparently healthy. What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I would do best in a home with only adult humans.I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.Not only do I pull at heart strings, but I also pull on leash! I will need someone to help me with my leash manners.A volunteer writes: Salvador Dogi is a work of art! Though, there's nothing surreal about his many abilities. Salvador charms us with his numerous tricks. Sit of course, give paw-too easy, but he also knows down and roll over, showing us that someone has invested time in him! Our favorite is when he does the down/paw combo, which is when he lays down but also puts his paw in your hand at the same time. He's a very smart and energetic boy, one who as expected, is struggling to acclimate to shelter life. He was brought in by the police when someone dropped him off at the station, so not much about his history is known.
