My story

Hi, my name is Bucky and I'm about 5-6 years old and my adoption fee is currently fully sponsored! I had a rough start in life and found myself at the county shelter on death row because I was overlooked. Luckily for me, a death row pardon came at literally the very last minute from Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue! After getting the medical and general care that I needed, I was adopted out to a great home 3 years ago and had a wonderful life with them, but they can no longer keep me now, so I need a new family to love and to love me. I went through a 2 week Board and Train program a few months ago after I got into a scuffle with another dog and my trainers there say I did AMAZING! They loved me so much that the Dog Wizard of Fort Myers is generously offering me and my new owner a 7-10 day Board and Train Refresher! They say I'm a very good boy, just not the kind of dog that needs or wants playtime or social interaction with other dogs -- I just prefer to be with humans who I will shower with affection. Adopter can be put in touch with my trainer for all of my training notes also gets Lifetime Support from my trainer. I can't wait to work with my new owner! A secure fenced in yard for me to run around in would also be really great. I'm a very good boy with all humans and kids, I'm a calm, well-behaved, non-destructive dog in the house and I'm fully housebroken. I do get a little excited when visitors come over, but don't we all?
