My story

My foster writes:Meet Sebastian! This happy boy has the best smile and a heart full of joy. He loves playing outside, soaking up cuddles, and just being near you-whether that means laying at your feet or curling up wherever you are. Sebastian is all about love, loyalty, and good vibes. He's ready to bring sunshine into your life!Sebastian is an eager and intelligent pup enrolled in our Shelter Scholar program, where he's working hard to build confidence and develop the skills he needs to thrive. Through positive reinforcement training, structured enrichment, and stress-reducing activities, Sebastian is learning how to navigate the world with more ease-especially when encountering other dogs. While he's still working on managing his reactivity, he's making great progress in staying focused and feeling secure in different environments. With patience, consistency, and the right guidance, Sebastian is on his way to becoming the best version of himself!There is an adorable video of me on social media! What my friends at ACC say about me:I have been known to shower my favorite people in love!I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!A volunteer writes: When I first met Sebastian in late October, I would have never thought this short king would still be with us in February. He is so wiggly and affectionate: loves climbing into my lap for pets and gently accepts treats I offer while looking at me with his soulful eyes. Out on a walk, he's not a strong puller and due to his signature smolness, generally not hard to handle. I call out his name and he turns around, then jumps up on his short leggies to say hello back to me. When I leave at the end of my shift, I walk by his kennel as he happily chomps down on a pig ear. He looks up at me and says goodbye with a gentle tail wag (and I smile, admiring his fun spot patterns - head & tail only). Sebastian was surrendered with 2 siblings due to an out of state move. His chi brother and meatball sister have since been placed, but Sebastian is still available at QACC to be your valentine and your "happily ever after"!
