How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by a community member. Why Gideon might be the one for you: Meet Gideon, a sweet and loyal dog who is looking for a special home where he can thrive. Gideon initially came into care with some fearful behaviors, but with time and patience, he's made progress. However, he still requires a calm and experienced owner who can help him build confidence in new situations. Gideon does best as the only dog in the home. He can be reactive to new people and other dogs. He needs a patient and understanding owner who can work with him. Gideon is a loyal companion who thrives in a home where he can feel safe and secure. With the right structure, consistent training, and plenty of love, Gideon has the potential to be a wonderful pet. If you're looking for a dog who needs a little extra care and attention to become his best self, Gideon might just be the shepherd for you!
