My story

Hi, my name is Simon. I am a bit shy when meeting new people at first but warm up real quick especially if you play with me. I have spurts of crazy kitten especially when I see a feather toy. Yup, a toy with a feather will bring me to my feet. Even the ball in the circle toy is loads of fun. However, for the most part, I like to lay in the sunshine and take a good nap or nap on someone's lap. I will sit next to you when you sit down. A cat tree is my favorite perching location. From here I can observe my whole world and I am at the right height to receive the occasional ear scratch when someone walks by. A little bit of attention is all I ask for and I will ask. I'm waiting for my new family to claim me and I'm looking forward to starting my new life with them. Could it be you? Are you interested in adopting Simon or another JCAPL pet you have seen? There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center or Timber Drive next to Home Depot).
