My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:Dana appreciates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to an adult-only home with experienced cat parents.A volunteer writes: Dana wasn't exactly welcome as she waited injured and alone in front of a building. Though sadly water was thrown on her so that she would leave, Dana makes her own choices and chose instead to wait. This proved to be smart as help was on the way. Though understandably nervous at first, Dana's more than welcome at the Care Center and has subsequently felt comfortable showing us her bright and patient personality. When I last visited, Dana came rushing out of her den in a happy little burst, eager to share her tales with anyone who had a moment to listen. Helpfully rolling herself into my arms and purring as she explained that everything that happened is in the past and she's ready for a future with a family who loves her.
