My story

Approximate Age: 5 years old Approximate Weight: 68 lbs Meet Gus! • Playful spirit: Loves running and playing outside. • Affectionate snuggler: Couch, bed, lap—Gus will find a way to be close to his humans and soak up cuddles. • Compliment king: He lives for kisses and being told he's handsome. • Dog-friendly with a playmate: Gets along well with other dogs who enjoy rough-and-tumble play. (But would do best with a slower introduction) • Kid-friendly with caution: Sweet with children, but best for families without small kids due to his size and enthusiasm. • Chew champion: Needs durable toys and chews to stay busy, especially when home alone. • Training ready: Smart but stubborn—could benefit from a little obedience work. • Sensitive guy: Not a fan of nail trims or vibrations; has benign cysts on his ears—aka his “special ears.” • Treat-motivated: Loves snacks, but they should be limited due to a sensitive tummy. Gus is a fun, sweet, and loyal companion ready to bring joy, laughter, and snuggles to the right home.
