My story

Our hearts hurt for Five Star. Her owner could no longer take care of her and she tied her to a tree. She did contact someone who found Five Star and took her in until she could bring her to the shelter. Five Star arrived to the shelter on 4/27. This girl is 2 years old and weighs in at 54 pounds. She has the most beautiful light eyes. She will sit when asked and takes treats like a lady. It is reported that she is good with other dogs but not cats. She is working on being house trained. Does your heart hurt for this sweet girl? Wouldn't you like to wake up to that face every morning? Ask for ID# 9635 Run 853. She is spayed. She will be micro-chipped upon adoption. She has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
