My story

Meet Nova! This 4-month-old, 28 lb cutie is ready to light up your life! Nova is likely a pitbull mix with a dash of something larger — maybe shepherd, based on her gorgeous coat. We expect she’ll grow into a beautiful 50–60 lb adult. Nova is all the things we love about puppies: sweet, playful, and full of snuggles! She loves other dogs and is especially happy when she has a pup friend to play with. She’s been around cats too — and aside from some curious sniffing, she gives them their space. She’d likely do great with dog-savvy cats. She’s kennel trained and working hard on her potty and leash skills. Like any puppy, she’s still figuring out what’s a toy and what’s not (chew toys are her favorite!), so she’ll need a family committed to continued training and structure. She takes correction well and is generally submissive to other dogs. Nova would thrive in a home with older kids who understand how to respectfully interact with their furry friends. She’s also a great car companion! If you're looking for a loving, playful pup to grow up with your family, Nova might just be your girl.
