You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. Apply to adopt by filling out the online adoption application on our main website dakotadachshundrescue.org Click on Adoption Info under the Navigation bar on the left side of the page. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.   Foster mom update on Sam: “Sam I am” that’s me! I visited Dr. Paul and can you believe he thinks I need to lose a few pounds . Honestly, I am not too worried about it now that I can get out and run and play with all my foster sisters and brothers. My foster mom cannot believe how playful I am. I am potty trained and sleep with my foster brother in an expen at night. I am starting to like my kibble and dog treats but I know there are tastier options in the refrigerator that I would prefer. My foster mom adores me and thinks I am a very good dog! I do need another dog in the house to keep me active.I am fully vetted and ready to find my furever home! I am 3 yrs old, I weigh 33 pounds (my goal weight is 15-18 pounds, my adoption fee is $400 plus sales tax $16=$416   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter, dental and microchipping.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2025, 1:52 pm
