My story

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat through our Owner Placement Program. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this. Malady is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with her current owner in Huntington Beach. Adoption fee applies. The "One and Only" amazing Malady is ready for her new companion, a single woman with Bengal or other hybrid derived domestic breed experience. (Toyger, Savannah, Chausie, Ocicat etc.) True to her breed, Malady is spunky and a bit sassy. We like to think of it has Bengal charm and charisma. She is a highly intelligent being and will enjoy conversational chatting with you. Malady is trained to wear a harness and leash. She loves exploring outside and would enjoy more opportunities with supervised exploring. She enjoys all the high locations indoors, beds in windows and even above the front door! She adores the Ziggy Doo cat wheel! And will greet you there when you come home, she grooms herself there, sleeps there, and she also uses it to blow off steam when she is angered or frustrated (the other rescue kitty irritates her.) So a cat wheel would be a huge plus for Malady. This sweet girl wants to be the only one! No other pets, nor young children. She was raised by a single woman (who was a Healer, who meditated often) so we seek a similar situation for Malady and is currently with a Bengal breed experienced foster. She eats Instinct frozen raw, Temptations for treats, and drinks from a filtered water fountain. She uses four litter boxes, two with sand and two with puppy pads. She has sensitive paws, and is accustomed to using Sustainably Yours litter. She prefers wood for a scratching post. Although she lives with and accepts a service dog, Malady prefers to not live with a dog. She had a recent wellness Vet check, is healthy and needs no regular medication. CBD helps to calm her during fireworks. She's a real sweetheart, that has been through some rough times. She has recovered and now wants to move on to a peaceful life with you. She understands the English language, so you may need to spell some things out! Like why has it taken so long for you to come meet her and take her home with you ? She'll want you to explain that to her, always love her and promise to keep her forever. Malady will love you right back too, just as soon as she knows she is safe, and everything's going to be okay. She's ready and waiting for you . . . =^.^= Malady is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her owner in Huntington Beach. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Malady please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Malady, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
