*** To alleviate the need to bring an animal into the shelter environment, The Anti-Cruelty Society has the Home-to-Home Shelter Bypass service to help people find new accommodations for their pets privately. These animals are not located in any of the Society`s physical locations. If you are interested in adopting this animal, please do NOT click the Adopt Me button and instead reach out to the current owner directly via the email provided in the profile. As this is a Home-to-Home animal you are not required to fill out an Anti-Cruelty Society adoption application form. *** The animal’s behavior around other pets; Mia loves to play with other dogs and is generally submissive toward them. She will thrive in a house with other dogs. She has only been around cats sparingly (in my experience) and seems to be curious but fine.The animal’s behavior around children; Mia is very anxious around children. Since I adopted her (around age 3) she has shown a general anxiety and fear around kids that we have not been able to calm. This is the reason we are looking to rehome her - we`ve had a daughter that Mia can`t get comfortable around, particularly as the daughter starts walking.Any past or existing health issues that the animal has had; general allergies, otherwise very healthyAny medication the animal may currently be taking; noneAny dietary restrictions that the animal may have; nonThe animal’s training history (especially whether or not the animal is housebroken); Housebroken, crate trained, very good walker, very food motivated.For adoption information, please email ben@hftd.org
