Once abandoned in Bay Point, Oliver survived in a managed feral colony—until a kind-hearted caregiver noticed something special: this wasn’t just another stray cat.  Thanks to that compassion, he's now safe indoors and thriving. Oliver lives for playtime, zooming around with his favorite toys like a kitten again. But he’s just as happy curling up next to you, especially if petting or lap naps are involved. One of his most charming habits? Making adorable 'biscuits' with his paws—a clear sign of a happy, loving cat. This social guy gets along beautifully with respectful feline friends but would do best in a home without dominant or aggressive cats. People? He adores them. At his adoption site, he’s been showered with love from kids and even dozed off contentedly in a young girl’s lap during a cuddle session.  Health-wise, Oliver is FeLV-negative and FIV-positive. But don’t let that scare you—FIV is no big deal for a chill indoor cat like him. With regular vet care, a healthy diet, and lots of love, Oliver can live a long, happy life. He’s neutered, so the chance of transmission is very low. We suspect he got FIV after a run-in with the tougher crowd in the colony—he’s more of a lover than a fighter. All Oliver wants now is a calm, loving home where he can stretch out in a sunny spot, chase a toy or two, and snuggle up with someone who loves him back.
