My story

Location: Rockford, MN **Please read full bio before applying** Hi there! My name is Boston Cream, but I just go by Boston! I am a 1ish year old corgi mix of some sort! I didn't have the best start in my short life so far, so I am VERY scared of all new places, things, and people. I am on some medication to help me not be so nervous, but really time and patience is what I need the most. I've been with my foster family a couple weeks now and I'm still learning to trust them. Foster mom really wants to pet me but I won't let her, I just need more time to figure out we are friends! I don't really understand living inside a house yet- I am very anxious when I am not outside but I am slowly learning its fun to be inside too! I do have some skills in the house: I am crate trained (I LOVE my crate- it is my safe place) and I am potty trained if I am brought out on a schedule (though I may have some accidents at a new place because I will be nervous). The best part of foster family's house is the other dogs here! I LOVE them and play super good! I especially love running full speed with them in the fenced yard and taking turns chasing each other! I could stay outside with the other dogs all day and play play play! I am looking for an experienced adopter who understands I will need time and patience to come out of my shell. I do kindly ask for a fenced yard (I am terrified on leash- we are practicing everyday but for my safety a fence is really important for now) and at least one other friendly, playful dog to keep helping me out of my shell. I am making slow but sure progress everyday and with the right persons could continue making progress but know that I am not social with people yet, so I really need someone to let me go at my pace and give me time, routine, a dog friend, and a safe yard to play in. If you want to learn more, please apply and reach out to my foster mom! -Boston ----------------------------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Boston Cream, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
