Bongbong

My story

Bongbong is a 6 year old poodle with a gentle soul and a story to tell. He was found on February 19th, curled up in a field after spending a long time wandering the streets in poor condition. Locals had seen him moving from place to place, kindly feeding him along the way. Now neutered and weighing in at 5.1 kg, Bongbong is all set for a new chapter in his life! Bongbong is a true sweetheart. He's incredibly affectionate—not only with people who he knows, but even with strangers. He happily leans in for pets and loves cuddles. He’s comfortable being picked up with arms around his belly and even rolls over to show his belly to people he’s just met. Bongbong is also great with children under 13. He’s friendly with other dogs and often approaches them to say hello, especially to dogs around his size. While he’s not afraid of larger dogs, he tends to not engage in play with them. If another dog is overly energetic or tries to pick a fight, Bongbong simply chooses to walk away. Occasionally, he’ll growl at a more passive dog but quickly removes himself from the situation. Bongbong hasn’t had direct interaction with cats yet, but based on his gentle nature, we believe he'll do well with cats. A test can be arranged if needed. Bongbong has a balanced energy level. He enjoys his time outdoors but settles down calmly afterward. He walks well on a leash without pulling and sticks close to his person. Bongbong doesn’t guard food from people or other dogs. He’s calm in a crate and doesn’t show signs of separation anxiety, though he may whine a little once he’s bonded. But he quickly settles down and waits in patience—he just loves being near his people! Just a note: while his teeth show some wear, they have been professionally cleaned/scaled. This sweet, affectionate boy is ready for his forever home—a place where he can enjoy gentle walks, cozy cuddles, and the love he’s always deserved. ##2383520##
