My story

Panther is such a happy guy! He is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 42 pounds. Panther is a stunning, gorgeous young pup that is just full of love and goofy antics! He's a very affectionate boy who just wants to please and seems highly trainable. So playful too and always eager to explore his surroundings and sniff out new adventures, he is going to make someone a wonderful companion. However, he will need a leader who can provide structure, as well as some basic obedience. Panther does have some mild food bowl guarding as well, but he is doing great with his training with “sit and wait” for his bowl, easily being called out with hot dogs and making eye contact when trading up. If you are an experienced dog owner who is ready to give Panther all the love and support he needs, please come and meet him, he is quite wonderful. He will need an adult only home. If you are interested in Panther and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
