Hi I'm Skye! I landed at Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue after being found huddled in the corner of a building with my sister as little babies. I came to the rescue with an injured right eye - I don't know whether it was a result of trauma or a birth defect, but it doesn't matter to me - I just need a family who it doesn't matter to either! At the rescue, I received the medical and general care to be ready for my new forever home. My sister got adopted and I'm waiting patiently for my turn. I'm estimated at a little over a year now and last weighed in a bit under 50 lbs. I'm dog and people friendly, just may be a little shy at first, but will come around pretty quickly. I don't seem to care too much about the cats hanging around. As with most dogs at the rescue, I'll need some training to work on basic commands and my leash walking - I love to go for walks. I appear to be a lab mixed with a brindle like a dutch shepherd or plott hound, but that's just the rescue's best guess. My adoption fee of $200 includes vet check, up to date vaccines, spay, heartworm test (negative), microchip and deworming, all already done. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt! If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. If you'd like to experience all the love I have, and want to make me part of your family, please complete the adoption application by pasting this link into your browser: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sm2546&method=online_form_html&formid=21
