My story

It is quite possible that there has never been a dog more appropriately named at KCPP than Cupid! This boy lives to share love with every human he meets. He`s a fan favorite at the shelter, greeting everyone he meets with a smile and a kiss...or three!Cupid could be described as a pocket bully, albeit a rather stocky one. He`s a handsome tricolor mix, with a heart as big as his head! He enjoys spending time with volunteers and walks beautifully on the leash. A lap is always welcome, too, as it allows him to demonstrate his loving gaze at close range. He keeps his kennel clean and is a quiet, cooperative boy. As an added bonus, he is a very, very smart boy and very responsive to training! He has spent some time with a volunteer at home and is reported to be a superb houseguest. He did all his business outside and was respectful of the home. He was absolutely in love with the soft dog beds available and was able to get some good sleep in a quiet, cozy bed. He also found some good solid chew toys and had much fun testing their longevity!Cupid would love to meet any potential canine siblings! Our staff will carefully handle all dog-to-dog introductions at the shelter to ensure a great match.
