My story

Hi there! My name is Shayla, and I am looking for my forever home. I am a young pup about a year old with a big heart, and I have a lot of love to give to the right person or family. I am kind of about the perfect medium/small size at 32 pounds. I am very smart, and I have a lot of potential, but I am still very much a puppy, so I will need someone who is willing to train me and be patient with me as I learn. I would do best with an experienced dog owner who can show me the way and be my leader. I do have some mild food bowl guarding, but I am doing great with my training at the rescue, I will “sit and wait” for my bowl, I can easily be called out with hot dogs and I am making good eye contact when trading up. I’ve been told I am highly trainable, I am just looking for the direction I never had and someone who will continue to work with me so I can blossom. As you can see from my pictures I am as cute as can be, but most importantly, I am very connecting and loving. I am just dreaming for someone who will give me the love and care I need.
