My story

Hi, I’m Carver! I’m a polite, gentle, and slightly awkward guy who’s happiest just being near my people. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, loyal companion who’s more into strolls than sprints—I`m your guy!I love short walks around Piedmont Park, greeting every dog we pass with calm friendliness. I’m not much of a rough-and-tumble type—I’d rather take it easy. When other dogs get too bouncy or excited, I usually retreat to a quiet spot or sit calmly by my human. I’m super friendly, just a little shy and easily overstimulated, so I like to keep things peaceful.People say I have amazing manners. I’ve never tried to steal food off the coffee table (even when it’s right in front of me!), and I’ll never jump on your furniture—I prefer to keep my paws on the floor. I’m not really into toys or snuggling on the couch, but I love head scratches, quiet company, and being near you while you relax or work. I’ll often walk up slowly, look up for some pets, and stick out my tongue in the most charmingly awkward way—it gets a lot of laughs!I’ve met kids, and I think they’re great! My calm nature makes me a wonderful match for young children, older adults, or anyone who wants a sweet companion without all the energy of a high-maintenance pup. I’m totally fine being left alone during the day, and you’ll usually find me napping when you come home.If you want a polite, funny, affectionate, and easygoing dog to share your life with, I think we’d be a perfect match.
