My story

 Gracie is a 4 year old female Pit mix with a heart full of love and a personality that shines. She’s a super cuddly and gentle dog, always eager to receive affection. Within moments of meeting her, you will likely find Gracie belly crawling over to you, seeking pets and affection. Her beautiful sweet spirit makes her a joy to be around. Plus she walks well on a leash, and enjoys greeting new people she meets along the way. When she is in the fenced-in park, Gracie loves to run and chase squeaky toys, but she always returns to her favorite part - being with you! More than anything, Gracie thrives on cuddles and is the ultimate lovebug. She is happy to simply hang out with you, savoring every moment together. Overall, this precious girl will make a wonderful and very loving companion, who will brighten her family’s life with endless joy and affection. More about Gracie:  This little snuggle bug lives for kisses, cozy beds (cat beds included; yes, she fits), and being your front seat passenger princess. She doesn’t even chase birds, just politely watches them like the gentle lady she is.   Gracie’s favorite hobbies? Stealing hearts & pup cups at Local Ties, getting hugs & kisses at Underground Books, and politely squeezing into our cafe lobby cat’s bed like it’s made for her. She even handled a Mouse-enforced “timeout” with total grace; no bossy behavior here, just a perfect pup with cat friendly manners! She enjoys kiddos who love some puppy kisses!  She is selective about getting along with other dogs  (meet n greet always strongly encouraged).     The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.May 5, 2025, 3:53 pm
