My story

Sadie is a gorgeous, majestic and stoic German Sheppard. Her approximate age is between 5-8 years old. Sadie was rescued from a high kill shelter where she delivered 7 puppies. As you can imagine, pregnancy and delivery at her age was difficult. She came to us severly underweight and defeated. Sadie has recovered nicely and is so genuinely happy now. She appears much younger than her initial evaluations indicated. She is potty trained and knows many basic commands. Sadie spent a significant amount of time living in the shelter. She can be leash reactive when approached by other dogs or if dogs bark towards her direction. True to the German Sheppard breed, she is protective of her owners and home. Sadie is gentle and kind. She does not jump and her demeanor is calm, yet alert. Sadie would be best in a home that is experienced with the Breed and their requirements. She loves daily walks but does not require excessive exercise. We aren't sure how this beautiful, loyal dog tragically ended up in the harsh environment of the shelter but she is looking for her forever home where she can live out the rest of her life in the loving care of her new family. Can Sadie live her golden year out with you? Sadie's Adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, microchip and current vaccinations. To fill out an adoption application, visit https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SSP-A-1347 To follow Sadie on her journey to a loving family on SPOT's Facebook page, visit https://facebook.com/spotsavespets/ and on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/spotsavespets/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sadie Baby, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
