My story

Wichita, a handsome 1-year-old black Lab mix, is a sweetheart with a heart of gold, weighing in at a svelte 33 pounds. This charming boy has truly been blossoming, slowly but surely unfurling his confidence like a beautiful flower in the sun. He's made incredible strides in his journey, coming out of his shell and embracing the world around him with growing assurance. While he might still need a gentle hand and a little patience to warm up to new faces, Wichita is a testament to resilience and trust. He's never one to react defensively; instead, when he feels unsure, he'll gracefully retreat or quietly avoid interactions, a true gentleman in every sense. His progress has been remarkable, and with continued love and understanding, Wichita is sure to become the most devoted and joyful companion you could ever wish for. He's a gentle soul, just waiting for the right loving family to help him shine his brightest!
