0831 Luke Skywalker

My story

Luke Skywalker is fostered in Shabbona, IL.   Luke Skywalker is a 1.5 year old black tri male Mini Australian Shepherd (Mini American Shepherd) with a gorgeous tail.  Luke was relinquished by his owner for reasons that were not really his fault. Luke loves playing a good game of chase with the resident dogs. Luke weighs about 30lbs.  He is very true to the aussie breed and loves to be with his humans. He is great with other dogs and even cats.  Luke has been with children around 8 years and up.  Luke has great house manners.  He is crate trained, but he doesn't love it and can be trusted in the house for long periods of time.   Luke is house trained and has wonderful recall.  Luke is quite a jumper and has cleared doggie gates in his foster home, so a shorter fence wouldn't challenge him at all.  He has done well with grooming and enjoys car rides, running errands with his foster parents.  Luke would make a great addition to any home that is committed to continue his training.   Luke is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms.  Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization.  For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.
