My story

BAILEY GIRL Attributes Single dog home Housetrained Crate trained Medium energy Good on car rides Good w/kids over 5yo Playful Snuggly Will potty on leash Requires a fence Bailey is a sweet, medium-energy girl between 2 and 3 years old. She must have had a family that taught her some basic commands and fully housetrained her. Unfortunately, she is a bit of an escape artist and was not previously tagged or microchipped, which is how she came to Midwest BREW. Bailey knows her commands of come, sit, stay, leave it, and time for bed. She loves to give kisses and snuggle up on the couch. At night, she starts in her doggy bed, but there are some mornings that she climbs up into our bed and snuggles between us. She rides well in the car, is housebroken, and crate trained. She has no issues going or staying in her crate when left alone. She loves going on walks and checking out every scent she can find. She can be a little too gung-ho trying to get to smell something, and tends to pull while on leash. We are working with her on that. Bailey does get agitated with other dogs, but loves her human companions. She has been around younger children, with no problems, but does not have any experience with cats. Bailey would be great in a fenced one-dog home with children 5 years old and older. For more information on Bailey, please contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor.
