My story

As interesting as he is handsome, Sarge is a lovable, hearing-impaired couch potato who’s looking for a patient and understanding forever home. This sweet boy was found as a stray, and while he`s made amazing progress, he`s still learning how to fully settle in and trust. He free-roams comfortably in his current home, but he’ll also go into a kennel when needed.Because of his past, Sarge eats quickly and currently uses a slow feeder to help him pace himself. He`s fully housebroken and does wonderfully with kids of all ages—gentle, tolerant, and always happy to soak up the love.Sarge gets along well with dogs his own age and energy level, but he struggles with older dogs, especially since he can`t hear their cues like growls or warnings. He’s still learning about personal space and boundaries, so a home with confident, playful dogs or as a solo pet might be best.Overall, Sarge is a loyal lap dog with a big heart. He just needs a family willing to meet him with a little extra patience—and a comfy couch to call his own.Come by to meet him today!
