My story

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK&EWR💟 Meet Sunho💙 Sunho had been waiting for a long time at the city shelter while his fellow dogs were urgently rescued as they were at risk. Sunho was finally rescued after an Adogs volunteer caught his attention. * With People: Really likes people. Wags his tail even when he sees people afar and is an affectionate cutie who rolls over to show his belly before you even touch him. Rubs his face against your hand, asking for pets. May have trauma associated with being touched below the neck, so be cautious ㅡ sudden movements or trying to grab him or trying to grab him can scare him. * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs and sometimes gets playful and starts running around. Has a quiet personality and likes spending most of his time alone. * Separation Anxiety: Unclear as he is living at our center, but doesn’t appear to show anxiety. * Potty Training: Does his business outdoors at our center. * Hygiene: Doesn't really like being brushed, but if you soothe him gently, he will tolerate it. * Walks: Seems frightened when he is outside, and often freezes, struggling to follow along. Steady training is needed. * Car Sickness: Feels at ease and gets good rest during car rides. 💌Special Notes💌 * Has achieved 70% mastery of ‘sit,’ and ‘chin.’ Hasn’t been taught to shake but can do it with both his paws with 100% mastery! Responds very well to being called and comes running as soon as his name is called. * Has timid personality and may need time to adjust in new environments. * Seems to have some trauma related to being touched on his belly. Needs a bit of time to adjust, and before long, he’s comfortable being touched. Is very afraid of being picked up, but he easily accepts it with trust. ❗Health Condition❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped, heartworm to be retested in December 2025 and fully recovered from anaplasmosis. * His right ear is cut cleanly at the tip, as if it were trimmed with scissors.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sunho, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
