Weight: 20kg / 44 lbs   My Personality Hi, I’m Elena!I’m a calm, thoughtful girl with the heart of a quiet companion and the soul of a loyal friend. I might take a moment to get to know you—but offer me a gentle voice or a treat, and you’ll see my tail begin to wag and my eyes light up. Before long, you’ll be petting me as if we’ve known each other forever. Some people say I have an old soul. I like to think it just means I know how to appreciate the little things: a peaceful walk, a cozy bed, a kind hand. I’ve been through some change, so I value stability and patience. Once I feel safe, I blossom into a loving, gentle presence by your side.   Social Skills With People: I may be shy at first, but I’m truly sweet-natured. With a bit of time and a tasty snack or two, I’ll warm up and let you into my heart. With Dogs: I greet other dogs politely and generally get along, especially with calm or larger dogs. I can hold my own if needed, so slow introductions are best. With Cats: I haven’t met any yet, so it’s still a mystery!   My Ideal Home I would do best in a calm, loving home where I’m given the time to adjust and form a bond at my own pace. Once I feel safe, I become deeply affectionate and loyal. Here’s what I’d love in my forever family: A patient and gentle companion who understands I open up in my own time. A quiet home where I can relax and feel secure. Consistent routines—they help me feel confident and safe.   Life at Home I’m quiet and observant by nature, and I enjoy having a cozy spot to relax. I’m housetrained for both indoor pads and outdoor potty breaks, which gives us some flexibility. I’m not a huge fan of the kennel just yet it makes me a little nervous but with patience and reassurance, I’m learning that it can be a safe space too. When it comes to food, I do like my meals! I can be a bit protective around food, especially with other dogs, so I’d appreciate a space where I can enjoy my bowl peacefully   Special Notes If you're looking for a sweet, soulful girl with a soft heart and gentle nature, I might just be the one you're meant to meet. I’m ready for my next chapter—maybe it's with you.   On My Walks‍ Walks are one of my favorite parts of the day. I get excited at first there’s just so much to sniff and see! Sometimes I pull on the leash to follow where my nose leads, but I try to listen and stay near my person.
