RIZZO

My story

This lovely girl is Rizzo! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 4/27, and no one has come to reclaim her. Rizzo arrived with an injured leg, but the way she plays now you'd never know it. She should still be assessed by a veterinarian to make sure everything has healed properly. The volunteers describe Rizzo as super friendly, but also high energy! If you're looking for a workout/hiking/running buddy she's your gal! We're not sure if Rizzo knows any commands, but she sure loves treats and will work for them. Rizzo is approximately 10 months old and weighs 32 lbs; she will most likely be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. Rizzo is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She is spayed and will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Rizzo in run 404; her ID # is 9638. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
